Bauhaus Cup
Inspired by the hand-painted Bauhaus motif I’ve been painting for years, I’ve made it into a new silhouette for 2024. Thrown with an off white clay and finished in either a gloss white or glossy black allover glaze.
Cups measure loosely 4” x 3.5” wide and hold roughly 8oz of liquidy things.

FORM FOLLOWS FUNCTION
Simple geometry and a less is more design approach, these are an ode to the original German design school that many of my inspirators once studied and/or taught at.
